The history of AIESEC began in 1948, 77 years ago, when AIESEC was founded.<\/p>\n

AIESEC was established in 1948 after World War II, where seven youth across seven countries had a dream of building cross-cultural understanding across nations. They hoped to change the world, one person and one internship at a time.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

AIESEC Lithuania closely collaborated with academic institutions, companies, and governmental organizations to expand its reach and impact. In 2015, AIESEC youth leaders from 126 countries and territories, in collaboration with the United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, gathered at the United Nations headquarters to promote and encourage youth participation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
